Construction Tips
PRE-ASSEMBLED SHINGLES: Our laser-cut pre-assembled shingles are ready to be cut to size. Because shingle sheets have been spot-glued together, we recommend applying double-sided tape to the back of the entire sheet before cutting. Use your roof parts as templates and cut with scissors or a model knife. The small strip attached to the shingle sheet may be used to cover the peaks of the roofs or any joints. |
| UNASSEMBLED SHINGLES: These shingles should be glued using either Elmer's yellow or white glue. Apply a small amount since you do not want the glue to spread out between the lines cut by the laser. For ease of assembly, we suggest that each row be cut and trimmed to the exact length and angle of the roof prior to gluing. |
